About This Blog

Everyday Inspiration (sometimes referred to as "EI" for short) was created to be a source of inspiration for its audience, who would then share posts, or sparks of this inspiration, with others via the "Share" buttons at the bottom of each one. However, it wasn't anything in particular that inspired me to create this blog, other than the Bible — just an idea. Prior to its creation, I'd been noticing how all around me were printed verses, in various forms, versions, and layouts: in Bibles (of course). On cards. At the bottom of journal pages. Posted on the Web. By that time I had begun reading at least one Psalm a day, and as my eyes passed over the words printed on the page of my Bible, I thought to myself, What if I designed little images with Bible verses on them? Thus, after finishing my daily reading, I headed to the one photo editing website I knew: picmonkey.com. There began the creation of my posts . . . specifically, the Original Template. Then, as I pondered the subject, I realized many people enjoy picture templates with different fonts and sizes, enhancements, and effects. So I created three images with Ecclesiastes 3:1, Psalm 23:2b-3, and Psalm 18:28 (the background of the latter being one of my own images, enhanced and with effects).

I hope you enjoy browsing my creations at the Home page. Check out the Create page to create your own Original Template verse; and the Ideas page to get ideas on what to do with your verses!
Plus, you can find out more about What I Believe, or read A Pencil Illustration.

Thank you — and remember! The glory is never due to my name! May God alone be praised! Soli Deo Gloria! May you see, through these verses, the awesome glory and power and holiness and righteousness and love of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

About Me

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Hello! My name is Anna, and I love to read and write. One of my favorite books is the Bible, because it's a constant source of comfort, help, direction, love, and just plain stories of history . . . everything you could want in a book, all in one. If you read above, you'll know this blog came as merely a spark of inspiration, as each of its individual posts are designed to be. Nothing extraordinarily significant or particular inspired me, just daily readings of God's Word, I suppose, combined with the observation that people in today's world love to share images and inspiration, and what better inspiration is there than the Bible? My hope in this is to spread God's Word and truth to you in a tangible way that transcends boundaries and is understandable and relatable to the twenty-first century . . . one verse at a time.
For in a world so full of messages such as "be yourself" and "find your inner strength within you," there's a bigger, grander, much more beautiful message of humans' brokenness and complete dependency upon God like the Father He is: "Trust in Him, and He will lead you and guide you and love you (Proverbs 3:5-7), sheerly because He is Love (1 John 4:8)."
I've chosen some of my favorite passages to post and hopefully will continue to keep a steady stream of them flowing.

On a slightly more personal level, and as was stated in the paragraph above, I love to write — poetry, short stories, and books. I've written 3 (unpublished) books and countless poems, all for my own personal enjoyment. I hope to use my gifts and talents for God's glory . . . and not for mine. (See Psalm 115:1.) What a waste my writing would be if I didn't glorify the One who gave me the gift of it!
I like to analogize this to a story of a pencil — that is, A Pencil Illustration — I've written. So may my writing forever glorify He who made me and chose me and loves me . . . and may you see His glory through my posts.
